Pat and Ron

So we left Door County this morning around 11. Stopped a couple of times at shops but then drove to Belguim Wisconsin to visit Pat and Ron whose house is right next to Lake Michigan. When we got there, I saw that they had a jet ski. I didn't want to go on it at first because I hurt my side yesterday but finally, I thought, what the hell, I haven't done it before. I got my swimming suit on and Gary gave me a ride. It was so bumpy and we went pretty fast. It was so much fun but when we got back in, the waves were very strong so I didn't want to test it out by myself. Next time though! I got a little burnt but not bad. No pictures of me on the jet ski though because me and pictures along with swimming suits don't go together!

We left their house around 7 and got home around 9. It was a busy weekend, but great. I got a lot of relaxing done and totally left all the stress back here. Now, I am hoping it will stay away for awhile. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekends!

Beautiful!!!

I know that this is supposed to be "all about my civic" but since she is here with us, I figured I could write about the trip! So last night my mom and I decided to watch the sunset. It set at 8:33. We went by the Sister Bay Marina. The pictures won't do it justice, but you can see just how beautiful it was. I wish I could see this all the time. Here are some pictures to enjoy!

8000 mile mark

Well, I hit the 8000 mile mark yesterday on our way back from getting my favorite cherries (which I am actually eating right now!) I almost forgot to take the picture. Got back to the hotel and it hit 8001 so I was able to get the 8000 picture but I was only going 25 miles per hour. Oh well.

Vacation has been going wonderfully. We have been busy but relaxing too. We went to see a play last night that lasted 3 hours! It wasn't really that great. Then today, we have been running around. I have been getting a lot of Christmas shopping done which is really great. So if you read this before I leave, let me know what you want! :) Tonight, we are going to a fish boil and then hopefully get back for the sunset which we missed yesterday because of the play. We were waiting for it but it didn't set completely before we had to go into the play area. I have pictures, which again will be posted when I get back. I brought my cable but I don't feel like trying to upload them today.

I am not able to get online all the time but I am sitting out on our little porch and I am able to pick up the Sister Bay Marina assess. It's nice but can't plug the computer into anything so it's running on complete battery!

Well, I think that is going to do it for me today. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Road Trip

I really enjoy taking road trips but this is the first one my baby has to go on. Her miles are going to go up. I think I am around 7760 right now. I am wondering what the mileage will be when I get back. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend though. Have a fantastic weekend and look for posts about the car on Sunday or Monday.

This is where we are staying. Looks like it will be great. We got the waterfront room.

This is where we are going.

Cap Alert

Here is the new thing I got for my car. It's just something so I don't have to do as much work to make sure my tires have all the air in them. Susie's dad had them for her car so I thought it would be a great idea to get them for mine. The guy at Napa was really helpful and he checked and found out I only need 30 psi in my tires. Pretty easy. I love things that make my job easier! :) Posted by Picasa

Too many miles!

My miles are going up. I just hit 7600 today. I took a picture of this mile stone but don't feel like uploading it right now, seeing that it's 1am. In a week, I'll be up in Door County with my baby. I think I might break the 10,000 mark for the year anniversary. Shall we take a bet? Anyone?

Here is the picture. I got around to uploading them last night. (Today is 7/10/06)
I was on my way home from Brian's after dinner, mini golfing, and a movie with Brian, Chris and Susie.

7000 mile mark

On Friday I reached 7000 miles. I was on my way up north for a non-fun event (Landon's funeral - see my daily news for more information). 94 was like a parking lot because a lot of people were going up to Summerfest. I got a pictures of the odometer when I was actually going 70 miles per hour. Pretty neat! I left around 2:30 and got up to the funeral at 4:45. After, went to Michelle's for some dinner. I left Wisconsin at 8:30. Then on Saturday, I went up to Wisconsin again, this time to Madison. I put over 500 miles in two days on my car.

Here is another one when I was going almost 80 mph. I figure it might take the place of my next mileage point.
